There was a neat spider in my front yard. After watching it for a couple of days I brought it inside to inspect. The kids asked questions about where it spins it's web from (answer- the spot they initially identified as the butt hole 😅) and if it lays eggs (they do), and if it could be kept as a real life Halloween decoration (it was set free far from my yard). We've went on walks and gathered leaves, talked about the changing seasons, and admired the many colours of fall. We noticed that some trees have a few red leaves on top and some have no red leaves yet. We had some adventurous risky play and practiced jumping and rolling in the field.
