These little ones love the school bus, the city bus, and big trucks. We travelled by bus to the mall for a library story time and the children were all wide eyed and quiet for the whole trip there and back. On another walk we were lucky enough to see some big trucks doing some big work!
Learning Story: The three littles painted orange shirts on Friday. I noticed that T was really interested in the effect that the paint had on the paper. It seemed that wet paper texture was irresistible. You poked and scratched at it holes appeared. Eventually you poured the paint on the paper and later when we revisited the activity I offered you a sturdy paper plate. I wonder if it was the liquid that you wanted to explore or the feeling of the paper disintegrating? To expand on this activity I'll offer watery paint for an outdoor water table activity so you can explore pouring, painting, and the effect of liquid on paper at the same time. I'll add newspapers, cardstock, and cardboard for variety.
